SP, Swedish ICT and Innventia have merged to now become RISE. SP’s name officially changed to RISE from the beginning of 2017. The aim of the merge is to create a more united institute sector and become a stronger innovation partner for both the Swedish business community and broader society. Among others, through new services RISE wants to address the needs of SME’s that become more and more important for the Swedish economy. The new RISE will be organised in 6 divisions: RISE Bioeconomy, RISE Built Environment, RISE ICT, RISE Life Science, RISE Safety & Transport, RISE Certification. The process of implementing the organisation change resulting from the merge will take place gradually over the years to come.
